As a 2019 AAAS Mass Media Fellow, I worked as a staff writer and contributing photographer for the Inquirer. I covered science, technology, and nature news, from breakthroughs in terraforming Mars to the story of an endemic spider that is quite literally "West Philly, born and raised".
My Articles     Readership Statistics (as of Feb 2020)    I worked as an assistant producer and guest host for an episode of the Science History Institute's podcast, Distillations. We explored the saga of science, corruption, and history behind how Philly gets and uses its water.
"How Philadelphia's Water Pollution Problems Shaped the City"    I am the founder and editor of Arachnofiles, a group blog by a mix of professional and amateur arachnologists. We tell stories about amazing arachnids and the people who study them.
Arachnofiles    As the Co-Chair of TREE's Communication Committee and the Committee for Diversity & Inclusion, I helped organize and create a new scientific conference committed to accessibility with free registration, travel awards, and mentorship programs for undergraduate researchers.
